For Black Friday most regional dealerships would request fairly standard Black background campaigns. This time we pitched something different, positioning the vehicles as the hero, sent to save the buyer from “Phoney Baloney Black Friday deals”. After getting the green light from the client, we set out choosing and illustrator a production studio that would fit the look and feel. Finally I designed assets for digital, social, and the buyatoyta.com website using the established assets.

The Gentleman’s Truck

Role: Art Direction/Design

The Toyota Tundra is considered to be the first import full-size pickup truck that could compete with domestic brands. Regional Toyota dealers wanted a way to raise awareness through social media that would be consistent with what consumers saw on TV. Using video B-roll and photography from the a photo session I designed and animated, a 30 second broadcast commercial, eight :15 social posts and a print ad campaign.
